Flatulance problem

Hello all, like it or not I have had to adjust everything in my life due to COPD to the extent that I feel that I have lost all independence, and to be bluntly honest it is hard to cope sometimes.
I have a fantastically helpfully daughter near by, BUT, that is part of it. I have to depend on her far more than I would like .
Question though: as most of us are in similar circumstances ( and not trying to be rude ), is it me or does using oxygen fairly regularly, do others have problems with flatulance?
Hopefully nobody is offended by me asking. but I can not think of a polite way of asking.
Enjoy life everyone. "
Senile Bob.

  1. I definitely relate to the 'everything changing' part of your statement. Yeah. As for the flatulence, I had some issues that mirrored your symptoms pretty well for the first couple of years. Diet changes to better support both breathing regularly and reducing the fiber, which can contribute greatly to the gas issue, are always being adjusted and tinkered with it seems. I still experience it, but I have found that through diet and some light exercise, I can reduce it. I am not going to suggest anything, as allergies and such would haunt my dreams should something bad happen to you, but there is a TON of info both here in the archives and on the web to help direct you and answer some hard questions. Best wishes, and may God bless.

  2. South Paw, thank you, your mention of looking at diet has me thinking so I have a bit of researching to do I think, so thank you and " Enjoy Life "
