Best handheld fans for on the go? My palliative care doctor suggested I get a handheld fan for personal use and when going for appointments. Any suggestions? I'd rather not spend/waste money on things that are too heavy or don't fit the purpose.

Hi HorseLady, and thanks for your post. There are so many portable-type hand-held fans on the market - I (personally and professionally), would not feel comfortable making any type of recommendation. However, you may want to do a search on the internet to look over those products that are available commercially, I also thought you might want to ask your palliative care physician if (s)he had any suggestions to give you. Please do check back and let us know how it all turned out for you. Good luck! Leon (site moderator)

Thanks Leon for your response. I was rather thinking someone on the site might have chimed in with their personal experience on what to try and which brands to avoid. With my TBI, it is hard to do a bunch of comparisons as I tend to get lost, forget names, etc. But I guess I will just have to figure it out. Thanks again.
