  1. NO

    1. Hi . I am glad you have been able to get by without any changes. Do you feel your symptoms are under control? Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

  2. Yes, I have had to make a lot of changes. I have to pace myself and I cannot do the things I used to. It can be depressing sometimes. Of course, this disease gets worse as time goes by so I am not looking forward to what is next.

    1. went to the beach over the July 4th weekend and I was very very tired after making 3 steps at a time in the sand had to use rescue inhaler that didn't do much good that day. No more beach for me!!

    2. Oh gosh yes, I am disabled and walking on sand is SO exhausting! Especially when it's also hot outside, just a hard combination. I don't know what your beach is like, but there are beaches in my area (New Jersey) that have these excellent chairs to borrow:

It allows for easy movement over the sand and even a little floating in the ocean. Of course, you need someone to push you.

Maybe there will be an opportunity for you to explore something like this in the future. Don't give up hope, there are still possibilities. 😀 -Melissa, team member

  3. Yes I have. I had to stop working because it was to physical for me to do. I know I have had to slow down and take it easy. I it is very frustrating.

    1. We hear you, . Were you about to get approved for disability? Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

  4. I just entered stage 3

    1. I'm sorry you're going through a flare right now. That's not easy, especially with your doctor away. Are they alone in the practice, or is there someone on call you can reach out to, or maybe an urgent care? Please take good care of yourself and pay attention for any more worsening of symptoms -- it is generally safer to check in with a doctor rather than try to push through. Keep us posted! Get well soon. -Melissa, team member
