aspirating
Hi I am new. I have had aspirating while eating, drinking or just swallowing saliva 3 or 4 times in the last few months. Luckily, my husband was there and hit me on the back several times til I could start breathing and talk again. Has anyone experienced this? I am not on any treatment yet except Spireva and Xopenex. Any advice welcome.
Hi downtown and thanks for your post. We appreciate you sharing your present circumstances managing COPD and also this recent experience with aspiration. Have you had an opportunity to discuss this with your physician as yet. I am certain the doctor would want to be made aware of this new development. He/she should be able to work with you to determine what is happening and what treatment, if any, would help to prevent or control this concern.
