Hi, Fred B. here and I thought I would speak on the lighter side. I am talking about thethered to an oxygen concentrator with oh, say 25 or so feet of hose, I firmly believe that there must be a rule? or something pertaining to rising from a sitting position while hooked up to the cannula. The rule states that "you must be standing on your hose when you get up so your head is pulled down and you can see where you are" This has got to be number one, because it happens to me every time. I can look down and see the hose at least 10 feet from my chair, but, when I stand up it has snuck under my left foot and got me AGAIN. Thanks for letting me tell my little story, if anybody has bothered to read this far. If anybody asks how I am, I answer I've been better, but considering the alternative, I'M GREAT. Good night, good luck, and may the Good Lord take a lik'n to ya......

  1. Your story made me smile, Frank. I feel like anybody who has ever used oxygen can relate to it! I'm sure your sense of humor has gotten you through the moments that aren't so great. Glad you're here with us! -Melissa, team member

    1. Hi Melissa, thank you for the kind remarks. I did read your rules, phew, after all that you better have at a little sense of humor. I don’t believe I am in violation of any, and really that dam hose does have a mind of its own…. By the way, I’m Fred. Glad to be here, well a little bit anyway…..
