Why I think exercise is so important

So many things. Exercise makes me know that I'm fighting this disease rather than just sitting down waiting to get sicker. Some days I do better than other days. It all counts.
It increases my appetite, which is good for me. Food fuels me.
It makes my skin look fresher and puts a smile on my face.
It gives me more energy. Yep it does, though you may not notice it at first.
It can bring me new walking partners, thus new friends.
It causes me to drink more water.
It strengthens my bones and muscles.
I'm very grateful that it does me no harm; just makes me feel better, and it's free.
