I have a problem with my rescue inhaler. I currently use Ventolin and my hands (due to arthritis and tendon issues) no long work to depress the canister to make it spray. What are some other options?
Hi . I can't imagine you are alone in that siutation. Hopefully, others will chime in with their experiences. I know it is not practical when you are out and about, but can you use a nebulizer instead when you are at home? Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

I do use a nebulizer at home, but sometimes I need a faster solution. Thanks.

Another option that might help you is a mesh nebulizer (https://copd.net/living/mesh-nebulizers). Many are slightly larger than an inhaler and can be carried in a pocket or purse. And they can easily be used even with arthritic hands. Plus they can get you access to the medicine quickly. Is this something you have tried? John. community moderator.
