Trelegy Elipta
Having sore and tight throat after 3 years of using this product. Has anyone else experienced these symptoms?

My pulmonologist gave Trelegy for me to try. This was after 2 years of Symbicort. The manufacturer stopped the Symbicort for Prescription Assistance. I used Trelegy for three days. It made my lungs feel good, but gave me a bad sore throat. I could hardly swallow. I even gargled and mouth rinsed after using it because the corticosteroids contained in it can cause Thrush. It did for me. No more Trelegy for me. My doctor gave me Bevespi instead. Been on Bevespi for 2 years now and it works fine. To get rid of the Thrush, I used warm salt water gargles and rinses. I am kind of surprised you are just now having side effects after 3 years. My wife uses Trelegy for her asthma and has no side effects at all. You need to contact your medical team. If it is thrush, there are antibiotics to treat it. Please call your medical team. Take Care and God Bless!Thank you for that information. I am going to try a new inhaler, Breo Ellipta.
