Do you feel when COPD gets to a certain stage nobody wants to know. They have found 6 noids on my lungs now no department wants to know

  1. ,
Not sure what you mean by "no department wants to know". Also what exactly do you mean by 6 noids? Do you mean 6 nodules? I don't know what a "noid" is and have never heard the term. If it is nodules, then that is only concerning if they are large and growing. If they are small is dissipating, then it is not really a concern. I had several large ones a couple years ago, but they dissipated by themselves and no more large ones have appeared. If it is a concern for you (as it should be), contact your medical team and ask for an explanation. Take care and God Bless!

    1. Yes you are right they are called nodules I have 6 and large what ment was when you have questions just to put your mind at rest nobody will answer them directly they always beat about the bush and twist things

      1. As someone who has been dealing with chronic illness for years, I can totally understand the fact that doctors are not always the best actual people as well. If you want you can take a look at this article about being your own advocate:

It is definitely important but it is also a learned skill. It takes practice and it sounds like now might be the perfect time to start practicing that particular skill. If you need help we will always be here, you are not alone, and community members like are also around to add their input. Keep on keepin' on, DPM

If your medical team will not answer your questions about your lung nodules, then it is time for a new medical team. That is not acceptable. You need to insist on a direct answer with no beating around the bush. If that is not possible then like I said, find a new medical team. Take care and God Bless!
