I’m a Registered Nurse and PhD candidate at MUSC. Over the past eight years, I’ve cared for many people with COPD across emergency and community settings. I am still recruiting individuals with COPD to partake in my dissertation project.
My dissertation includes a short survey exploring how your communities and familial support affect COPD care, along with an optional follow-up phone interview. Your insights can help improve how we deliver care for individuals who lack support systems. Data shows lack of adequate social support has the same negative health impacts as smoking 15 cigarettes a day!
