Mom has COPD

Hello My mother has COPD just learning how serious it is. I'm new My mother is having problems keeping weight on losing a lot of weight. Went brought her some vitamins anybody had that problem

  1. ,
I have a problem keeping my weight up. I seem to lose weight in the spring and gain it back over the summer and fall. I know that COPD does drain your energy. Your body uses so much extra energy just breathing and coughing that it is hard to eat enough to keep weight on and keep enough energy stores. I usually cough a lot in the spring due to allergies and weather changes, so I lose weight. Summer and fall are easier on my system and I cough a lot less, so I gain the weight back. You can contact your medical team and see if they can help with a dietician to get a proper and better diet to help this problem. Take Care and God Bless!
