Medication

I was doing well on Trelegy but it made my throat sore so my doctor had me try Breo but it does not help. Before I go back on Trelegy, I wanted to know if anyone has tried Breztri and if it helped your COPD. Thank you Paula

  1. Hi Paula!
From what I have read in this community, results are mixed. Some people find it helps while other say Brezti doesn't do enough. Here is a forum post about using Brezti that might interest you: https://copd.net/forums/using-breztri.
I'm not sure whether still uses it, but, if so, maybe Dminor9 will chime in here. If you do try Breztri, I hope it's effective for you and that you don't have the same side effects. Warmly, Lori (Team Member)

  2. ,
My wife has used Breztri for her Asthma, but I have not for my COPD. I have used Trelegy and had to stop due to constant thrush, even though I gargled and rinsed after using it. My wife was upset when her work changed insurance and the new insurance would not cover Breztri. She like it an it worked well for her. I think you will like it. Just remember to gargle and rinse after using it and you will be ok. I used Symbicort, and now am on Bevespi. Also taking the bi-weekly Dupixent injections. Let the forum know how it works for you. Take care and God Bless!
