Hiccups

I recently started having some long term bouts of hick ups. I looked in the comunity 'Well of knowledge', but came up fairly empty, so turned to the internet. It seems that they may be a symptom of an exasperation or a trigger for it, as it is associated with the diaphragm and the ability to breathe properly. Who knew? I thought to share what I found here, in case there are others who have experienced the discomfort of continuous hiccups, and wondered why. As always, keep yer stick on the ice, and God bless.

  1. Thank you, ! Did you talk to your doctor about it? Maybe you can head off an exasperation or at least minimize the symptoms. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. I will see my pulmonary team in 2 weeks to discuss this and get any updates on my condition.

    2. I hope this doesn't develop into anything worse and that you eventually get some relief from your hiccups. They can be exhausting. Keep us posted if you don't mind. Warmly, Lori (Team Member)

  2. Might be worth checking in with your GP about it too, in case it's a gastro issue or something not related to pulmonary health. Hang in there. It's really kind of you to share about this to try to help others! I'll be hoping that it's something simple. -Melissa, team member
