Good news

Hi all, I usually post how things are bad, the effects, the fatigue, etc. I had scans done for cancer and how much my copd has changed. A hour after we got home my phone chimed. I looked at my husband. This is weird that it my scans results, I was concerned these usually that 24 to 48 hours before they show up. The good news nothing has changed going on 3 years now. This is goid news in retrospect. New breathing test next week. Though I am not sure how that is going to go. I have been more fatigue run down feeling lately. I have been using my walker more with my chronic pain kicking in. It a win so I will take it.
I pray we all have scans that show our condition not worse, just the same. Thank you all for letting me vent when needed, so much support here. I am blessed to have found this group.

  1. ,
It is always nice to hear good news on any level. But especially good when it relates to COPD. We all know that COPD is a progressive disease. So any news relating to keeping it at bay is great to hear. Good for you. Take care and God Bless!

  2. That's wonderful to hear, . I would have been terrified to hear that phone ring. In our family, a call from the doctor's office 49 hours or less after a test is usually bad news. Thank goodness that wasn't the case for you. Enjoy the holiday weekend! - Lori (Team Member)

  3. I'm happy to hear this, Stella! Did you have your breathing test yet? How did it go? -Melissa, team member

  4. I had to reschedule my hubby had severe migraine and could not drive me, unfortunately I am in a position my back driver's cannot help these days. Life is crazy.

    1. I'm sorry you had to reschedule, but I hope your husband's suffering was short-lived and that he recovered quickly. Migraine can be pretty awful. Does he get symptoms often? How soon were you able to get another appointment? - Lori (Team Member)
