Hi resurrected, and thanks for your post. You've posed an excellent question! As you may be aware, COPD affects everyone differently. Having said that, I will also add that each person's very first exacerbation can vary considerably as well. For some, it can be a significant change in one's typical day-to-day condition, while for others, it may not be quite as severe.
