I have COPD end stage and don't understand why I was never offered oxygen and have only been offered lung transplant. Very stressful as I can't receive a transplant due to heart problems.

I don't understand it either. It makes no sense. Have you asked your doctor why or can you have oxygen? Doesn't seem like much of a choice to me. Basically, no choice. I wonder if seeking a second opinion or changing doctors would change your treatment program, if there is such a thing. Do you care to share more information on the subject?

She said I didn't need oxygen but the test I took say's I do. Yes I'm going for a second opinion. It was hard because she didn't tell me to my face read it on my patient portal. So I called her office and of course couldn't speak with her so just asked if what I was reading was correct and they said yes. It was hard not being told in person.

I would definitely be changing doctors. I do not understand why so many doctors don't talk to their patients. I am lucky that my medical team is awesome. I always get any question answered by the doctor himself. If I call with any question or problem, I get a call back within 2 hours. Please let the forum know how it all turns out. Stay safe, stay warm, and God Bless.
