Breathing

This last month I've felt like I'm constantly breathing in dust,I can smell and taste it but there isn't any anywhere....has anyone else experienced this....????

  1. Hi . That must be unsettling. I hope you get input from others. I do not have COPD, but I sometimes experience phantosmia (phantom smells) when I have a cold that impacts my sinuses. For me, it's a strong chemical odor I can't get away from. Phantosmia can have multiple causes, including respiratory infections. I wonder if that might be what you are dealing with. Here is an article that explains it better than I can: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/temporal-lobe-seizure/expert-answers/phantosmia/faq-20058131. Have you mentions the odor and taste to your doctor? Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)
