With the Internet being my almost constant companion, I see many articles about "miracle" products that replace more common prescription inhalers, I.E. Spriva, Symbacort, etc.
Has anyone actually tried any of these?
Thanks for your advice.

  1. We do have an article or two on some of the lesser known, non pharmecutical treatments like this one: https://copd.net/answers/himalayan-salt-lamps but, really, it comes down to does it work for you. As long as it's safe and you clear it with the doctor, if it works for you then it works for you. I do know that in my moms case she ended up falling for every internet-based ad that said it cured COPD and while she tried most, unfortunatley in our case none of them did anything but basically give her a pill full of caffeine and other similar ingredients. Just make sure you take all precautions and again, check with the doc, before trying anything off the internet! Let us know if you have any other questions. Keep on keepin' on, DPM
