Good morning, Thank you for your post here. This is a great topic that you bring up. Yes, there are quite a few people here who have a diagnosis of both COPD and asthma. In fact, so many do that there is even a scientific name for is, as you can see in this article (https://copd.net/clinical/acos). It's also common for people with asthma and/or COPD to also have sleep apnea, which was discussed here (https://copd.net/living/copd-and-sleep-apnea) by one of my colleagues. It can be difficult even for healthcare providers to know exactly if it is the asthma or the COPD that is causing a flare-up. Often times, what triggers your asthma may also trigger your COPD -- such as allergies or colds. Do you feel you are getting good treatment for your asthma and COPD?
