Nana, how did it go? Waiting for results like that is so hard and scary ... we are here for you no matter what the results are. Lots of people here have other conditions besides COPD, and so to me it's still very relevant here. Share as much as you'd like. Hugs. -Melissa, team member

Well, I do have invasive ductal carcinoma stage 2. In January this year other doctors found a brain tumor, now they are going to do alot more testing to see if it's because of the breast cancer. I don't go and see an oncologist until Sept. 30th, but my surgeon is trying to do all she can. I may have a PET scan to check and see if the cancer has spread. I had the genetic testing so if I have that certain gene, I'll have a double mastectomy, if not maybe just a lumpectomy. I'll have chemo, and 5 weeks Monday thru Friday of radiation treatments. Seems like I have a long row ahead of me. I'm keeping faith in the Lord that he'll be beside me and help me through all this.

My heart goes out to you, . That's a lot to handle. I am glad they caught your breast cancer at stage 2. You will most certainly go through a lot of treatment and stress, but chances are great that you will finish in remission. I hope the treatment of your brain cancer is successful as well and that it is not related to the breast cancer. Please know we are here for you, not only while you contend with COPD, but also while you are being treated for your cancer. Do you have much support at home. Please keep us posted. My husband supports me alot. He tries to do everything where I don't have very much to do. I still am working 8-5 Monday thru Friday, so I guess my energy is used there.
