where to live if you also have mold illness

I have CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, a/k/a mold illness, NOT mold allergy). It is presumably what caused the COPD I now also have. I am having a really tough time trying to find safe and healthy housing. I am in the LA area and looking for a house, manufactured or not, in a 55+ community. The two illnesses create competing needs as far as climate goes, and air quality is a real problem. One place I am looking at is in the Riverside area and seems to be in the worst 2% for air quality in the entire U.S. There is a lot of 55+ housing there. Between needing a dry climate, which is often hot and dusty, and needing humidity, which creates its own problems for mold, I am totally frustrated, while I continue to get sicker where I am. Does anyone have any ideas how to manage these competing priorities to make it possible to choose an area that would be healthier for someone with both these conditions? Thank you in advance!
