Oxygen

On oxygen 2 liters work fine when I am at rest but when I stand I drop quick on my oxygen level

  1. Hi CM2696, and thanks for your post.
For some folks with a COPD diagnosis, an oxygen flow rate set at 2 lpm, will be satisfactory to maintain a good oxygen saturation level. However, sometimes, when just standing up or, with a minimum amount of exertion, additional liter flow may be required. Do you think that is what is happening in your case? Have you had an opportunity to discuss this with your physician?
    What do you think?

    1. Check with your Dr but I can have mine set low but like you when I get up I need more. Dr said I should keep it set higher to enable me to get up and move without the fear of becoming too short of breath.
