As best as I can tell, the Olympus Spiration Valve System is an alternate brand used for the endobronchial valve procedure, a treatment for COPD. Hi. Great question. I believe the Olympus Spiration Valve is a brand name for endobronchial valve system (https://copd.net/clinical/endobronchial-valve-system). Another brand is Zephyr. I do know there are a few patients who have had that procedure at my hospital system with good results. For more information you can check out the link above. Thanks for the response and hopeful wishes. This will be for my wife, and we are fortunate to have a supportive and enthusiastic pulmonologist who seems very excited about the procedure.
