nebulizer instead of inhaled steroids

I was wondering if anyone has tried going off the inhaled steroids, such as Stiolto and just used the nebulizer more? these steroids are so expensive once you hit the donut hole. Thanks Miki

  1. Hi , and welcome! I see you are a new member here, having joined today, just about an hour ago. We are glad to see you already engaging with the community through this, your first post.
I am hopeful others in the community will see your inquiry and respond by sharing their own personal experiences with you.
I would ask you to keep in mind that, just as asthma affects everyone differently, the effective treatment for asthma can also vary considerably from patient to patient. I do understand that cost can play a role in people's choices when it comes to medication. Many of these drugs can be a financial imposition for patients. Still, it would be a prudent idea to check with your physician before you actually stop the inhaled corticosteroid medication.
    What do you think?
