I would ask you to keep in mind that, just as asthma affects everyone differently, the effective treatment for asthma can also vary considerably from patient to patient. I do understand that cost can play a role in people's choices when it comes to medication. Many of these drugs can be a financial imposition for patients. Still, it would be a prudent idea to check with your physician before you actually stop the inhaled corticosteroid medication.
