Yes i take it twice a day. It was brought up in conversation with a close friend that was a surgeon, (Retired) I never heard of it before, Yes it gets the garbage up and out. got mine off Amazon. Orange label by (NOW) NAC 600 mg. I hope it helps. A lot of Pulmo know little about this. As it was in my case.
