Merry Christmas!!!

Merry Christmas to everyone. May you all have a wonderful, blessed, quiet, safe, and healthy day today, as we celebrate our Savior's birth.

I know I don't have all I want, but today I have what I need, and having woken up, for me, and hearing the coffee brewing, and weather in the 80's, as well as looking forward to visiting with family and friends, some in person and others by phone or Facebook, and the cat bumping my face in her usual morning greeting, are all things for me to be grateful for. I am breathing, I am walking, and I am able to take a shower. After the coffee, of course. Coffee. It's ready. Yes! Hold on a minute.

Ah! Nectar of the gods! Yesterday, I was able to send (via my very helpful neighbor Girardo!) a care package to my brother, with extra clothes, a tablet for tv watching, and some snacks. He is doing okay for now. I still don't know for sure but will hopefully get big hugs from my granddaughters tomorrow! I somehow wound up with a tiny little extra left over in the bank this month! I'm struggling to sleep this week, and not having the best week breathing, but I'm okay. I feel the love, and the care, and I'm grateful to be here with you all!
