I am copd late stage 3 with a new PCP
Should I request to see a lung specialist?My pcp doesn't seem to be worried even tho I can feel worsening changes? She did a cat scan and said yes you have emphysema and chronic bronchitis.Dont see why your left lung would ache tho.

. It's always a good idea for someone who has COPD, or any lung condition, to see a pulmonologist. Can you get a referral? If the ache worsens or makes you more nervous for any reason, I hope you'll consider a visit to the ER. At the ER, they can run more tests immediatley to determine what's going on.
