Help coping with C.O.P.D

I noticed an advert for a thing called a portable oxygen compressor which removes a lot of the nitrogen from the air so a person can breath the oxygen. I never knew these things existed, so I'm wondering if anybody has used one .and if so are they any good?

  1. Hi . I see you are new here. Welcome! Lots of people here have portable oxygen compressors. Some have great luck with them. Others find them too cumbersome. It really depends on your needs and your current physical abilities. Here is a wonderful article about one health leaders quest for a portable oxygen compressor that might interest you: https://copd.net/living/portable-oxygen-concentrator. I hope this helps and that you get more input from others in the community. Warm wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

    1. Thank you

      1. it takes the oxygen out of the air and concentrates it. As for removing nitrogen, I don’t know anything about that. But I have a concentrator at home. It puts out about 96 to 98% pure oxygen.
