Grief

Can grief cause a flare up

  1. ,
Since grief is a type of stress, I would say yes. We all know that stress can cause a number of physical issues. So I see no reason why it could not cause a COPD flare up. Of course I am not a medical professional, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. Please seek medical attention for your flare up and your stress causing factor. Take care and God Bless!

    1. I would say that grief is one of the MOST stressful things a person can go through, especially if it concerns someone or some thing very close to you. It can last for months and adds to the mental load of an already stressful situation ten fold! Hopefully, like you said, they get some help and , as always, they (and you!) are always welcome here to vent, chat, or just be with people who really get it! Keep on keepin' on, DPM
