generic heart disease with copd
I have copd iv just started home oxygen I'm slowly getting use to it I think , my Dr recently informed me that I also have generic heart disease and that its often diagnosed with copd so I should take frudimide (fluid tablet ) to try an stop feet edema and excess fluid on lungs does anyone have any info on this it would be greatly appreciated thanks .
That sounds like a lot to process all at once. Starting oxygen and then being told about another condition can feel overwhelming. From what many people share, medications like that are often used to help reduce fluid buildup and swelling, but it can look a little different for everyone. It might be worth checking in with your doctor if you have specific questions or concerns, just so you feel more comfortable with the plan. (if you haven't already of course).
