Changing a piece of medical equipment has been a huge game changer.

I live in a big older farmhouse. I have been on oxygen for 2 years and I am still learning. I have a 50' oxygen hose because my room is 50' to the kitchen. You can imagine all I've entangled. But I'm learning also. I was always whining about the rubber on my cheeks and tripping on the tube running down to floor. The other day my sister says why don't you run it down your back? I said something like how? She turned it around, ran it over my ears, and slide that little roun,d rubber thing up. That was it. It follows me now. I love it. Now if this is something that everyone knows, well sorry. I didn't. If you didn't know, try it. I love it. I don't sleep with it backwards. I'm afraid of laying on it. Also you should ask your doctor if its ok. Thanks

  2. I think we all make adjustments to make things a little easier or better. My story is that there was a period of time that I was having to change out my tubing every other day. I have a couple of cats that thinks my tubing is a chew toy. My solution to my problem was I put hooks above doors and in the ceiling to get it off the floor. It might look silly but I really don't care, most of the time it is just me and my boyfriend here. When I need my tubing on the floor for projects, I have a room that the cats get put in while I'm busy, they don't mind they take naps. Some might say you need to get rid of the cats, I say I can't they are my babies and they keep me from loosing my mind.

Breath easy everyone and have a good day.

    1. This cats ha! They will literally get into anything that is in any way long or stringy or moves around a lot. I have had them knock my stuff of the table just because! Plus there is the whole hair and dander aspect, people definitely say get rid of them but anyone who has pets knows... they are family! Keep on keepin' on, DPM
