Approved for Prescription Assistance
I got a call from My Way Dupixent this morning. I have been approved for Prescription Assistance. I will receive my first delivery tomorrow via Fed-Ex.
Thanks to my medical team for doing all the necessary paperwork to get me into the program! I have been on Dupixent now for two months via free samples. It has been a game changer for me. I can breathe so much easier and freely. Most of the tight chest feeling is gone. I can catch my breathe easier and rarely get so out of breathe I have to sit and recover. One thing I need to remember and others who use this treatment is that it does not prevent infection or prevent irritation from bad air quality. You still need to use the same caution as always with temperature, humidity, pollution, pollen, dust, catching infections from other people etc. If you keep on top of those things, Dupixent can really help you. There are very few victories with this COPD, and any that are to this degree are a true blessing my friend. You have a new tool in the toolbox, just do not get too comfortable that you forget how to use it properly. Best wishes and all the support I can muster for you. Stay golden, Ponyboy.
Thank you South Paw! I will not forget how to use it. My doctor will make sure of that. Not to mention my daughter (who gave me my first home injection) and my wife.
