All alone

Hi . I hope you get lots of input from others in the community because I know you are not alone in your situation. It would be nice to at least get virtual support from each other. I made this suggestion in response to another post from you elsewhere, but I thought it might be worth repeating: Have you considered asking your doctor for a referral to home health care? If you have a referral, it is usually covered by insurance. They can't help when you are in the hospital, but they can help when you get back home. They usually start by coming to your home and evaluating your needs from all angles. They have health aides who can help with such things as light housework and bathing and other health professionals who can arrange in-home physical therapy, wound care, blood pressure checks, all kinds of things.
