Steps per day

I walk between 2500 and 3000 steps per day (not all at once). Not sure if that is alot or not enough. Does anybody else keep up with their steps?

  1. I just got my portable oxygen concentrator. Haven't been active in a couple of years . I started day before yesterday trying to measure my progress by the yard . Very slow and not much progress, but it helps my outlook as well as helps physically. Keep it up and take your time .Theres no hurry .

    1. Thanks Leon

  2. John,
Contrary to popular belief, the number of steps per day per person is as individual as one's health. The 10,000 steps per day is not a scientific number studied at all. It was just a number made up by a Japanese man who started the whole Fitbit watch craze. The number of steps per day is up to each individual. I agree with Rambo to take your time and build up to whatever your goal is. As long as you are getting some exercise daily, the number of steps is pretty much insignificant. DO what you can and try to increase a little bit every day or every week. Whatever is more comfortable for you. Take care and God Bless!

    1.
