Phlegm

My doctor prescribed me an over-the-counter medication called Mucinex Maximum Strength 12 hour. I take it twice a day. It eliminates the problem, period. Active ingredient is called Guaifenesin. I get it from Amazon.

Hi EnKay, and thanks for your post. I see my colleague, , and community member , have already responded to your inquiry. You've posed an excellent question which, I have something to contribute to as well.
For folks with this condition. excess mucus/phlegm can be a characteristic symptom.
For some, mucus clearance can be a considerable challenge.
There are ways to cough that can help with the mucus removal as well as some techniques you might want to familiarize yourself with.
