Breathing exercise devices

I'm a senior citizen recently damaged my lungs cleaning the bathroom & kitchen with a bleach cleaner. Now I'm somewhat breathless.
There are some Breath improver machines around e.g. 'The Breather' & 'Airphysio' etc that claim to improve breathing for COPD people.

Do I invest in one & if so which one?
Can I exercise my lungs to improve breathing?

  1. Hi Aalf, and thanks for your post. We appreciate you sharing your recent mishap while cleaning the kitchen and bathroom.
While these exerciser devices are on the market, the type of function they serve may not be the best approach to your present condition. Before you decide whether to invest in something like this, you may want to have your lung condition assessed by a physician. If there is a lung injury, it would be important to understand what the pulmonary insult is. Once determined, the doctor will be able to suggest treatment (if necessary) for your particular level lung disease or damage.
    What do you think?
