Trouble with trimming toenails

I have trouble trimming my toenails. Is there some place I can go and have it done for me or any other helpful answers?

Hi larrya! I have to agree with FullyAlive and Leon. You could try a local salon, but please check to make sure that it is a clean facility, to lower your risk of infections. And, yes, if you have a podiatrist, that would be the safest way to get your nails properly trimmed. You may ask your doctor at your next appointment is he/she has any recommendations as well. Good luck! Best, Erin, COPD.net Team Member.

You could go to the nail salon or a foot doctor. My mom’s foot doctor offered those services. I trim my mom’s nails, she’s diabetic so I have to be very careful.

Hi larrya – I think that FullyAlive has hit the proverbial ‘nail on the head!’. Podiatrists tend to trim nails as part of a normal checkup – with 3rd party payers, it may even be less expensive than using the nail salon, depending on your insurance coverage. Please check back with us and let us know how you’re doing.
    All the best,
