Does anyone have a problem with a runny nose when out of breath?

Good Morning. My first question for the community.

Is there a relation between runny nose and shortness of breath with COPD?

Whenever I get out of breath from doing small chores around the house my nose runs constantly. The only way I can get it to stop is to stop and rest. It runs so bad I can't use my oxygen concentrator because of constant running down the cannula. I can't take antihistamines because it makes it to where I can't urinate. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem. Thank you.

    1. Thank you very much for the info, But it tells about Stuffy nose. Mine is far from that. Mine runs like a faucet. Nothing stuffy bout that.

      Thanks

  2. Hi again, Mike71. I also found several posts (from community members) about this very same topic - runny noses. I thought you also might look at these articles: https://copd.net/?s=runny+nose. All the best, Leon (site moderator)

    1. Hi again, Mike, and thanks for your response. 1. Mine does too but have noticed it is usually when I rush things! Working so very hard to slow myself down!

        1. Hi Beverly and thanks for joining in this conversation. If you find that slowing yourself down helps with the runny nose, that is quite the discovery for yourself. Keep up the good work!
