Understanding my diagnosis

X-ray and ct imaging have shown hyperexpanded lungs with chronic interstitial changes, scarring and nodules. Is this the same as ILD or interstitial fibrosis.

  1. Hi , and welcome! I see you are a new member here having joined today, earlier this afternoon. We are glad to see you already engaging with the community through this, your first post.
You may be aware we cannot provide medical advice or diagnostics over the internet (for your own safety), but your concerns certainly warrant a reply.
Some of the results of your x-rays and CT scans, you shared here, generally speaking, may be indicative of obstructive pulmonary disease and/or restrictive pulmonary disease.
However, to be certain what the diagnostic test results mean in your specific case, it would be best for you to speak with your private medical doctor (PMD). Your physician will have received the results of your tests and be able to explain what they mean in terms of your specific level of disease.
    What do you think?
