I use oxygen at night. If I want to take an overnight trip what would I do for oxygen?

Thanks for the question, pcrail.
I'm assuming you use a concentrator at night, is that correct? If it was a homecare company that provided the concentrator, you can call them and ask about a portable option for a trip. That may be a smaller concentrator, a few portable tanks, or another alternative. It depends partly on the liter flow you use. That will determine the type of device they need to provide you with.
If you bought your concentrator and therefore don't have a homecare company you deal with, you can contact your doctor and they can put you in touch with someone. In fact, the doctors office may be willing and able to arrange everything for you.
I hope that helps. Enjoy your trip!

HI pcrail! I know Lyn shared some great information and I also wanted to include an in-depth piece by one of our contributors about traveling with oxygen -- https://copd.net/living/on-oxygen-on-the-go-part-4-hit-the-road/. She really covers all the details and it might give you some ideas on how you want to proceed for your trip. I hope this helps and may you have a great trip! Best, Erin, COPD.net Team Member.
