I don't think anyone actually "likes" COPD. It is definitely a disease that requires constant care to maintain. We all have good days and bad days. I actually quit smoking about 10 years before being diagnosed with COPD. So smoking is not a problem for me. You just have to learn how to deal with the bad days. Easier said than done. Over time, one learns what works and what doesn't in regard to dealing with a bad COPD Day. Learning how to deal with the disease and maintain your body gets easier the more you work on it. There are a bunch of articles and posts on here that explains how different people deal with their respective bad days. Read up on everything you can regarding COPD.
