Copd, Covid

My granddaughter has Covid and lives with me, I tested negative the same day she tested positive. I’ve been stuffy and feeling tired, breathing seems a little harder. My oxygen levels are good but heart rate is high. Hoping for some insight on this.

  1. Hi , and thank you for your comment and expressing your concern. Let me see if I can help you with this. If you are using the COVID home testing kits, these sometimes provide false positives and even false negatives. If you are concerned, as I know you are, you may want to reach out for your physician. The doctor will be able to guide you through this.
Remember too, that the symptoms you have shared with us here, may be due to something other than COVID. To be absolutely certain of what is happening medically in your home, you will probably want to check in with your doctor.
    What do you think?

    1. I am feeling much better today, everyone else in house is still sick. I was told any other symptoms then go to emergency room to get medicine.

      1. Thanks for asking, we are all feeling a lot better.

      2. That's a relief. The frustrating thing about covid is that you never know how it's going to present. I appreciate you letting me know! Have a good weekend. 😀 -Melissa, copd team
