Being apart of the copd community

When I was first diagnosed with COPD I had no clue about what was going to happen to me and I definitely want to learn all I can about this disease so I ended up in copd support groups and have a group myself one thing that I learned is that you have to be very careful people love helping out they are not aware of the medication that you are taking and we all know this can be very dangerous for us and there is no cure for copd I hope you find this very helpful and breath easy my friend

  1. Hi again, , and thank you for staring this conversation in our forum section. We appreciate you weighing in here with both your perspectives regarding COPD and also, how you view various advice that is provided for patients with COPD. I tend to agree with you - folks intentions, in general, are good however, nothing can take the place of working with one's own trusted physician. The patient-physician relationship in collaborating together is vital to successfully managing this disease.
Would you say that is how you manage this?

    1. Hi again, michelle, and thank you for acknowledging my response to you from yesterday. In your reply, you mentioned you would like to see an article about 'the foam'. May I ask you for clarification, michelle? What form are you looking for information about? If it is something we are familiar with, perhaps we can direct you to additional information.
      Thanks,
      Leon (site moderator COPD.net)

    2. Hi Michelle! I think you are asking about how to submit an article here on the forum. You can do that over in our stories section! Just go to www.copd.net/stories and click the big "submit your story" button at the top and you will be on your way. 😀 If you are having trouble or need help, just send an email to our admins, Sam and Misty, at contact@copd.net. Hope this helps! It sounds like you're doing a lot of good for the wider COPD community -- glad to have you here with us. -Melissa, copd.net team
