Hi mila, and thanks for your post. As you may be aware, there are pains that may be associated with this condition. They can vary considerably from patient to patient. Have you had an opportunity to discuss the backache with your physician? The doctor may be able to shed some light on what is causing the pain in your particular case.

No, I have an appointment with my Pulmonologist next month and plan to ask him about it then. I have arthritis and that could be the cause. Hope to know soon.

I too have back pain. But had it before being diagnosed. My pulmonologist doesnt seem to think its related to COPD. Mostly my lower back. Tylenol works on tough days. I figure at this age, back pain isn't so bad.
