Does anyone on the board suffer from backaches since being diagnosed with COPD? I don’t know if it’s related or caused by something totally different.

  1. I too have back pain. But had it before being diagnosed. My pulmonologist doesnt seem to think its related to COPD. Mostly my lower back. Tylenol works on tough days. I figure at this age, back pain isn't so bad.

    1. That's the spirit! Any kind of pain is, well, a pain. Hopefully you'll continue to be able to control it with over the counter medications.

  2. No, I have an appointment with my Pulmonologist next month and plan to ask him about it then.
I have arthritis and that could be the cause. Hope to know soon.

    1. I hope you have a good appointment. Please let us know what your doctor has to say. ~Janet

  3. I get shoulder pain.

    1. Pain is not fun. I hope you are finding some relief. ~Janet

    2. Thank you Janet.

  4. Hi mila, and thanks for your post. As you may be aware, there are pains that may be associated with this condition. They can vary considerably from patient to patient. Have you had an opportunity to discuss the backache with your physician? The doctor may be able to shed some light on what is causing the pain in your particular case.
    What do you think?
