I'm sure others will reply with their strategies for dealing with panic and anxiety, but I'll give you my two cents. What may work for some doesn't necessarily work for others. Breathing techniques can be an amazing way to calm yourself when having an anxiety attack.
However, that being said, there is a time and place for medication if that is what you need. Talk to your doctor and decide how you want to handle the situation - and remember, each time may be a little different. So, how you deal with today's anxiety may be different from how you deal with it tomorrow.
I found a number of great articles on the subject, but here's one to start with that had some great tips. https://copd.net/living/fighting-anxiety

Has anyone here have been to a therapist and had a good time? What positive experiences did you have?
