Alternative Lung treatment

It’s been awhile since one been here. Is anyone familiar with the “zephyr valve “ procedure? I’m hoping someone on this site is familiar with it.

  1. Hi @woodbuzz, and welcome back!! It's always nice to have folks resurface and interact here in our online community.
As it turns out, we do have a considerable amount of published material, right here on our COPD.net community website, which focuses on the 'endobronchial valve procedure'. For your convenience, here is a link to several of those articles: https://copd.net/search?s=endobronchial%20valve%20procedure. I do hope you find the information addresses your concerns.
Again, nice to 'see' you here again.
    All the best,
    Leon (site moderator COPD.net)

    1. I recently wrote a story here about having the procedure done. I think it's under surgery in the story list. Bottom line, not difficult or painful, and, though I still know I have COPD, I no longer need oxygen during the day, except for vacuuming. I am also building up my stamina an inch at a time using a treadmill. Let me know if you have it done. I would not hesitate to have it done again.

      1. , yes, we appreciate your story so much! For your convenience, the story is here: https://copd.net/stories/endobronchial-valves (you may have to copy and paste the link into a browser). Thanks again for posting it! ~Melanie (team member)
