Newly Diagnosed

DX 2 weeks ago

  • By BeeTx

The Dr. DX me 2 weeks ago. I DX myself almost 2 years ago and had a huge problem getting help from medical society. They always knew about my cronic bronchitis and would treat the symptoms but when I needed O2 that was like asking for a golden apple!! I’m still struggling with wet coughs, tight chest, exhaustion, insomnia, brain fog and back pain when I,m up over 10 minutes. ….. I knew pretty much I have this but the confirmation sent me into the depths of my mortality. So I am back working on living one hour at a time and moving forward best I can.. I have a lot of allergies to dust, mold, grasses , pollen, cleaners, some perfumes. I had asthma a long time too. So naturally I assumed my problems were asthma for the longest until I read up on COPD. I’m 62, female, obese, diabetic T2 on insulin, low thyroid, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, digestive problems, ocular migraines and regular migraines and neck pain headaches.. I have struggled with depression and anxiety for my whole life and of course the breathing problem makes them worse. I have grandkids to live for so I am embarking on improving my health and will be reading this site from beginning to end. Thanks, Bee in Texas
