What are the most important questions to ask during my first pulmonary visit?

Absolutely no question regarding COPD diagnosis however interested in knowing what other folks considered their most important questions to be answered. I am not really interested in what stage-does it really matter if I still walk, breathe and sustain my daily routine without any real issues? I no longer smoke-after 52 years-you can’t cure stupid:) CT has been done, primary doctor has seen and am on no meds at this point. Is spirometer numbers the most important concern or would you folks be concerned about other things???? Will post a few more items in next day or so since I am new to this site.

Hi again Brucifer. Good to hear you're preparing for the visit with your physician. In view of your concerns as to what to discuss, I thought you might find it helpful to look over this article on that very subject: https://copd.net/living/questions-for-pulmonologist/. Please do check back and let us know how everything went for you. Warm regards, Leon (site moderator)
