What to expect

Stage 4. On morphine twice a day. 3 liters oxygen. Last pft 20% efv1. Don't sleep well. What to expect? Dr just said if I end up getting hospitalized for any reason, that I would be in serious trouble. Would like to know a little more.

  1. Hmm, well I would think that the statement from the Dr. would need to be clarified by the Dr. themselves for he/she is the only one that would truly know the answer. Meaning we all think, speak and interrupt things a little differently then one another, thus needing clarification from that original person would be the best way to get the best answer. As for what you should expect? Sorry I can not answer that just do to the fact again, everyone is different, but one thing for sure is that this is a progressive disease, so getting worse over time and a "give me". How quick and when is up for grabs, for no one can tell what will happen in the future. I feel if you try your best to stay healthy and use all your meds as prescribed, avoid large crowds and sick people if at all possible that is all you can do. Sorry I could be any further informative for you. I so wish for less worries and easier breathing.

    1. Hello . Did your doctor offer any recommendations?
Here is a link that might be helpful. Kathi covered quite a bit of information here.
