does anyone know if losing your voice on a regular basis is caused by copd

Hi Nikki, and thanks for your post and question - it's a good one! I know we've had conversations here in the past, and we're glad to see you continuing to participate here in the community.
Generally speaking, the disease, COPD, is not responsible for the loss of one's voice. There can be any number of medical conditions or circumstances alone, that may result in the (temporary) loss of one's voice.
However, if this is a condition that is occurring (as you say), on a regular basis, you may want to address this very real concern with your physician. If the condition has persisted for a lengthy period of time, or worsened even, you may also want to seek out a specialist, like an ENT (ear, nose & throat) doctor or, an allergist.
What do you think?

hi Nikki, I lose my voice if I don't rinse and gargle after using my inhallers.my voice will also get raspy at times. Got thrush a couple times too behind not rinsing my mouth out good after using inhalers, so now I'm sure to rinse. Hope this helps.
